Join us for a lively summer evening as the NYPD Steel Pan Band brings the vibrant sounds of the Caribbean to Stuyvesant Square Park.
Part of the NYPD Police Band’s Ceremonial Unit, the NYPD Steel Pan Band is a unique ensemble made up of active-duty New York City police officers who perform on traditional steel drums. The group regularly appears at community events, neighborhood celebrations, schools, and cultural festivals throughout the city, including the annual West Indian American Day Carnival in Brooklyn.
Bring your friends, family, and a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy an evening of upbeat music in one of Manhattan’s most beautiful parks.
Admission is free. All are welcome.
