Celebrating Black History Month
An Evening of Jazz
To celebrate Black History Month with an evening of live jazz and spirituals from Alex Nguyen with vocals from Amanda Finch.
Hear songs created by Black artists that are instrumental in defining a uniquely American musical experience. The legacy and achievements of Harry T. Burleigh will be spotlighted. He was the first Black soloist at St. George’s Episcopal Church, across the street from Stuyvesant Square Park, and his arrangements introduced a new audience to the American spiritual.

Support the Park
Become Our Friend
We rely on private donations to hold events & keep our park clean, safe, beautiful and green so that it can continue to be our place to gather and make new friends.
Meet our volunteers
Stuyvesant Park's resident dog owners (SPDogs) teamed up with NYC Parks' Josie DeJesus to take on the huge task of clearing all of the fall leaves in the park. The leaves were raked and ushered into tens of large bags, and they will be used for mulching and composting. We thank Josie and SPDogs for working hard to maintain our park for all of our neighbors and furry friends.
