A beautiful late Saturday afternoon in Stuyvesant Square Park provided the perfect setting for an outdoor jazz performance by trumpeter, bandleader, composer, and arranger Alex Nguyen.

Surrounded by shady trees and gathered neighbors, attendees enjoyed an afternoon of expressive live jazz in the heart of the neighborhood. Drawing inspiration from trumpet greats such as Miles Davis, Kenny Dorham, and Roy Hargrove, Nguyen and his fellow musicians filled the park with rich melodies, improvisation, and summer energy.
