A lively crowd gathered in Stuyvesant Square Park on June 1 for a special community rehearsal by the Big Apple Chorus, one of New York City’s premier a cappella ensembles. Despite a chilly spring evening, more than 40 attendees and passersby stayed to enjoy an eclectic program that included big-band favorites, classic standards, rock selections, and a spirited rendition of "New York, New York."

The chorus’s rich harmonies, engaging performance style, and warm banter created an inviting atmosphere that kept audience members singing along and enjoying the music throughout the evening. We are grateful to the Big Apple Chorus for sharing their rehearsal process and musical talents with the community.
