Trees Count 2025

🌳 Trees Count 2025 at Stuyvesant Square Park! 🌳

RSVP required.

Be part of NYC’s once-in-a-decade Tree Census! Join NYC Parks and SPNA on Saturday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help count, measure, and identify the trees that make up our city’s vital urban forest.

No experience needed—training and materials are provided (plus a free tote bag!). After a quick orientation, you’ll team up to record the location, size, species, and condition of trees throughout the park using the Tree Census app. This is your chance to learn more about the trees you love, contribute to the future of NYC’s green spaces, and spend a fun morning outdoors with neighbors.

👉 Sign up and help us count the trees that count!
