Menorah Lighting at Stuyvesant Square

Celebrate Hanukkah with the Stuyvesant Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) and East End Temple at our community menorah lighting in Stuyvesant Square Park.

Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights, commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem more than 2,000 years ago. According to Jewish tradition, a small amount of consecrated oil miraculously burned for eight days, inspiring the holiday’s eight nights of candle lighting.

Join neighbors for a festive gathering as we light the menorah and celebrate the Festival of Lights together.
