Led by multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and Friends Seminary Lower School Music Teacher Jon Weisbrot, this high-energy New York City band combines Jon’s original songs with elements of pop, funk, soul, and jazz.
From passionate improvised solos to soulful and vulnerable songs, Jon & the Projectors bring an infectious energy to the stage while exploring relationships, the search for happiness, and mental health awareness through their music.
The band has performed at venues throughout New York City, including Rockwood Music Hall, Chelsea Music Hall, Bowery Electric, Pete’s Candy Store, Pianos, 11th Street Bar, the Bitter End, Mercury Lounge, the Cutting Room, and Sofar Sounds shows across the city.
